Race Results!!!

Sorry for the delay in posting the results.  Below you will find the results from the 5k and 1-Mile Fun Run.  We had such a blast putting this run on and can not show our appreciation enough for everyone that was involved, from the runners, spectators to the sponsors and volunteers.  We are trying to nail down our official date for the 2012 race, so be on the lookout!  Thanks again for all who came out and showed your support of Bethany Christian Services!

It's RACE-DAY eve!!!

The time has come... it's time to run!!

We will have registration beginning at 7am and it will continue up until close to the race.  5k Walk/Run starts at 8am, with the Fun Run to begin no later than 9am. 

If you are not able to walk/run 5k or even a mile, come out and cheer on the participants and show your support for Bethany Christian Services!!

Looking forward to seeing each of you tomorrow at Propst Park in Columbus!!

It's RACE-WEEK!!

I hope everyone is ready for a great 5k (or Fun Run) this weekend!!  If you have not signed up yet, it is not too late!  CLICK HERE for a copy of the registration form.  Registration will continue until just before the start of the 5k race! 

If you are not able to run/walk a 5k (or Fun Run), come out and show your support for your friends and family that are participating!!

I am looking for a few volunteers that would like to help out doing various things before, during and after the race.  Please send me an email if you are interested!!

Do you want a shirt?!?

If you want to be guaranteed a shirt for the race, you need to register BY next Friday (9/16)!!  It's fast approaching!!  You can still register after that date and up until race-day, but we can not promise you a shirt.

Today is August 30, 2011.  We are now 31 days away from our Innagural Run For Home 5k and 1-Mile Fun Run!!  Which also means that we are 17 days away from the price increasing for registration!  Print your registration form today and mail it in or drop it off by the Bethany office!!

It's coming around the corner!!

Race day is just 38 days away!!!  That means that registration fees jump up in 23 days!!  Don't forget to sign up before you get caught by the extra cost!!

Are you ready?!?

Have you started preparing to run the 5k yet??  We only have 47 days until it's Race Day!!!

If you haven't started training yet, I'd recommend starting a program soon.  There are TONS of sites that introduce people to running slowly.  A popular intro-training program is C25k (Couch to 5k).

If you are already a runner and have other suggestions for the newbies, feel free to comment and let us know what worked for you!!

Run For Home 5k Walk/Run & 1-Mile Fun Run!!

We are so excited to announce that we are hosting our inaugural Run For Home 5k Walk/Run & 1-Mile Fun Run on October 1, 2011 at Propst Park in Columbus, MS.

ALL proceeds will go to benefit the local Bethany Christian Services!!  We are so excited to be able to help this wonderful organization out!
